Our Story

When Concept Studio was created more than forty years ago, our founding vision was one predicated upon: if Ralph Lauren were to create a hard-surface design company, what would it look like? How would it differ from the traditional showrooms of the era? More importantly, how could it elevate the client experience through exceptional service, unparalleled product offerings, and an environment that felt less like a showroom and more like a home?

Today, that vision is supported by a team with more than 200 years of combined industry experience and a carefully curated collection of materials sourced from around the world, including France, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Turkey, India, China, Japan, and the United States. Our in-house architectural drafting team and project support services have helped bring exceptional projects to life across New York, Montana, Colorado, Idaho, Hawaii, California, Michigan, and Canada. Behind every successful project is our dedicated warehouse team, who meticulously inspects each order for quality and accuracy before organizing and labeling materials by room to ensure a seamless installation process.

Looking back on the last four decades, I am proud of the story we have told and I’d like to believe Ralph would be proud too.
